Lately, detachable collars have been taking over what seems to be every style site I browse on repeat. I've yearned for the perfect collar since Fall '11, though I've yet to pull the trigger. There are just so many options!

Mes Dames S/S12 Lookbook

Happened upon Mes Dames s/s lookbook the other day, and instantly knew these images were too beautiful not 

to share. The ethereal, summery feel of this collection makes my lust for spring weather so much stronger. Nearly 

certain that I  need those high waisted bottoms in my life right now; the same goes for basically every garment 

in this collection. 

Writing this post has left me sitting here, wishing I could frolic around with a sheer dress and flowers in my hair.

Current Inspirations

hair lust: 

backwards ombre, so perfect. I've always wanted to dye my hair (I've literally never had any chemical treatment on it), though having naturally black hair makes the process far more damaging. Still contemplating ombre though...

this hair clip from Prada's fall 2011 show is so gorgeous. of course, Ginta Lapina's beautiful skin/hair makes the accessory that much better.

coveted accessories:

how can someone make a headscarf and sunglasses work so well? these sunnies look a lot like the Chloe foldable ones that I wanted awhile back (I never bought them, and when I went back to they were out of stock. of course, lucky, lucky me.). and this girl makes me want to wear headscarfs 24/7. so  flawless.

buy me this necklace, and I will forever be in debt to you.

and finally, collar cravings:

pony hair studded collars. does it get any better than that? I think not.

the details in this collar have me biting on the hook. as for the blouse in its entirety, the subtle hint of texture throughout along with the light, airy shade is having me drooling for one just like it. The pop of color in her polish doesn't hurt either.

Fall Wish List

Hey all! Thought it was about time for a post not focused on me. I get tired of seeing so many pictures of myself, so ta daaa! Here's a post of my cravings for fall (not even just fall, but things I cannot afford in general). I'm far too indecisive with clothes and most often I buy clothing on a whim, but when it comes to accessories I tend to have my eyes set on specific items. As you can tell with the pictured clothing items, they are red, red, red. I am slowly becoming obsessed with all things red, which is odd since I promised myself I would never wear the hue again (working a job with a dress code that forced me to wear said color every day built up a hatred for its boldness). When it comes to jewelry I'm often biased towards donning gold tones only, though this trend is slowly changing.
